Silly me. I thought once I finished the 12th block, I was almost done. I guess I am, but sewing them together took longer than 2 blocks. I guess I need practice piecing. I sure got good use out of my handy dandy Strip Stick. It works so well to keep your fancy embellishment stitches out of the way. Now on to embellishing the borders.
