Trick or Treat (pattern & kit) is available at Midway Wool.

Cat:

Satin stitch the inner ears.

Backstitch around the head and body.  Backstitch the ears & double whip the backstitches.

Add 4 oyster stitches for paws and straight stitches for legs.

Backstitch around the eyes with tiny stitches to keep it round.

Add pupils:  a colonial knot surrounded by a detached chain stitch. Take care to keep it a circle.

Using SP5, satin stitch a nose.

Using thin white thread for whiskers, I used wool appliqué thread.

Moon:

Using size 5, whipped chain stitch around the outside of the moon. Whipped backstich around the craters.

Tree & Leaves:

Using size 5 back stitch around the outside of the tree.

Add leaves to the tree using a Raised loop stitch (I did 5 wraps with a 1/4 inch bar) in 3 colors. Add leaves according to photo/desire including around the ground under the tree.

Bats:

Backstitch around the head, upper edge of the wings, and the main body with #8.

Stitch very close blanket stitch/buttonhole stitch for the lining of the wings.

Using SP5, single wrap French knot for eyes.

Mummy:

Using silk ribbon. Take care to have the ribbon lay as flat as possible.  Satin stitch the legs & arms.

Horizontal Stitches on the head and body, not satin stitches because it wastes ribbon on the backside.  Add a knot and tail to the head, and a knot on the backside and tail to the ankle.

THEN: appliqué the wool eye circles.

Backstitch around the eyes.

Add pupils with SP5. Colonial knot surrounded by a detached chain stitch. Bullion knot for mouth.

Frankenstein

Using SP5, backstitch along the forehead edge of the hair, stem stitch around the other 3 sides.

Still using SP5, back stitch along the ankle, then very close buttonhole/blanket stitch covering the shoes.

Using SP5 backstitch around head and hands.

Using #8, whipped backstitch around pants. Bullion stitches to create the bolts in his neck.

Using #5, backstitch around shirt including arms.

Using #5 backstitch around the eyes.

Add pupils with SP5. Colonial knot surrounded by a detached chain stitch.

Bullion knot for mouth.

Pumpkins:

Using 4 mm ribbon. Vertical stitches (not satin stitch because it wastes ribbon on the backside).

Using SP5 stem stitch around outside of pumpkins.

Stem is SP5 drizzle stitch tacked down near the top end.

Using SP5 outline the shapes of the faces and fill in with satin stitch. Here are my drawings of what the faces were supposed to look like:

And here is my finished product:

Stars & Grass:

Using #5, add random Colonial knots in the sky.

Using SP5 scatter clumps of grass.  Clumps are random assortments of straight stitches & fly stitches.
