Cutting Instructions:
Take note of which pattern pieces are not wool, as they need to be needle turned and will be cut differently. The yellow house curtains are needle turned.
For the grass, place the patterns end to end (there is NO overlap). Use a ruler/yardstick to make sure the bottom edge is level.
Applique:
Using the placement guide, pin all pieces in place, then applique the pieces down. The bunny heads are appliqued with Trapunto. This means add a small bit of stuffing before you completely applique the piece down. This will make the heads look normal since they overlap several levels of wool.
Wait to applique the organza until you are read to embellish it. The organza is fragile and needs the reinforcement of the embellishment stitches. Applique the organza with clear ‘thread’.
Wait to applique the ribbon until you are ready to embellish the curtains. Applique the ribbon with white regular sewing thread.
