Trick or Treat (pattern & kit) is available at Midway Wool.

Window lines: stem stitch with SP5.   Porch posts and horizontal railings are Hungarian braided chain stitch.  Vertical railings are stem stitch.

Middle roof pickets: chain stitch cross bar and posts. Satin stitch the points.

Middle roof: Running stitch around fabric patterns, ie. circles (not the tiny ones). Couch around the edges.

Bottom roof: Blanket stitch. 5 rows sporadically filled in, random in size and shape. Backstitch top and sides of the roof.

Top roof window: Mark a 1/2 inch circle. Backstitch with small stitches (I did 16). Spiral trellis stitch.   Whipped backstitch around the circle. Add long straight stitches to form windows. Couch down in the center.

Top roof trim: Make a 3/8 inch 5 spoke woven circle. Then 1 whipped chain stitch. Then satin stitches to create the point.

Top roof: Backstitch around the outside. Then do rows of basque stitch. Rows are 1/8 inch apart and 1/4 inch tall.

Orange boarded window: using size 5. Hungarian braided chain stitch the boards.

Now onto the fun stuff!
